Day 26 July26th

We have been on the road from sun up to sun down. Bernie and Lulu stayed in Minnesota to visit with family so we drove 932 miles to visit with our family. It has bee a Great journey. God has blessed us with safe travel and an awesome adventure. " HOME SWEET HOME". I hope you all have enjoyed seeing our trip as much as we enjoyed showing it to you. P.S. Day 25 July 25th

Another great day. We went to Wall South Dakota today. This is a town that has had this drug store where you could get a free glass of water after traveling through the Badlands. It has been there since 1931. Next we drove through the badlands, I would hate to have to drive on these roads in the old days. Our last stop was Sioux Falls .We went into Falls Park to see the water falls, they were so muddy we weren't sure if it was from rain or the power plant by them.

Day 24 July 24th

We went into Sturgis today just to get a T-Shirt the place is gearing up for Bike week. They have tents set up everywhere. Next we went to Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and Mt. Rushmore,they are all pretty close to each other. Crazy Horse still looks the same as it did 10 years ago. We will probably not see it completed. Custer State Park was a little disappointing we didn't see any Buffalo, only donkeys. Needles highway was real cool, the tunnels are so narrow it was fun to see a bus drive through them. At Mt. Rushmore we just took pictures because it getting late and we didn't want to get stuck in the dark. The sights were amazing.

Day 23 July 23rd

We did a lot of driving today, so some of my pictures are from going down the road. We did stop and see Devils Tower in Wyoming. While we were there we saw climbers coming down the face of the rock. The ranger said that people like to do this at night ,because they can't see how straight down it is. In the Park we seen some deer and prairie dogs. They would run right across the road. We are still seeing a lot of beautiful sights.

Day 22 July 22th

OH MY GOODNESS! Let me tell you about our adventure. The day started out foggy so we got a late start,we didn't leave town until after 10:00. We headed to the Teton Mountains. We were finally able to see them today the day was beautiful. We mostly drove through them on our way to Yellowstone.The Tetons were beautiful.When we arrived in Yellowstone we stopped and seen some waterfalls and the cascades these were both pretty. Next we headed to see Old Faithful,we sat and ate lunch while waiting for it to go off. This was really cool to see. On our way out of the Park ( this takes forever ) we saw Elk,deer,gray wolfs,brown bear,bison,black bear, and a fox.I got pictures of most some were too far away. Now doesn't that sound COOL. This is where the adventure really gets started. We seen the sun set and the moon rise before we got out of Yellowstone. We tried to get a room but everything was booked so we headed to Billings Montana where we got a room. Well that's not bad , but we had to take the Bear Tooth highway (those of you that know this road would say we are INSANE to take this at night). You would be correct. We played chicken with a Bison The roads were curvy and narrow with snow and it was very dark. Just another fun day and a memory you will Never forget.
